Using NSM NetSupport

Broadcasting Your Desktop to One or More Computers
1.)
Let's say you're in class and you want to show all your students what you are doing on your computer in real time. This can be done by displaying your screen on all their computers.

First you will have to be connected to all the computers you wish to broadcast to. See the previous section on connecting to multiple clients if you have any questions on how to do this.

Now, from the main NetSupport window showing your connected clients, click the 'Desktop' drop down menu at the top of the screen.

Choose 'Show' from this menu. A window will appear asking which connected clients to display too. Chose the desired clients and click 'Show'.

You are now broadcasting your screen to all connected client computers in real time.

2.)

To write on the screen that you're broadcasting, right click on the icon in your task tray in the bottom right corner of your screen and click on 'Annotate'. (Next to the time)

3.)

This will display the Annotation menu from which you have many options to draw on your screen.

Clicking the 'Option' menu on the Annotation menu and then 'Exit' will close this mode so you can resume normal control over your computer and broadcast.

4.)
To finish displaying your monitor, simply disconnect from your clients.

Viewing Multiple Client Displays at Once
1.)

One nice feature of NetSupport, is the ability to view the screens of multiple clients at one time. However, keep in mind that this mode only allows you to watch the selected clients. you have no control in this mode.

First connects to the clients you want to view. See the above section on connecting to multiple clients if you are unsure how to do this.

2.)

Once you're connected, click the desktop button at the top NetSupport menu. Choose the scan option.

3.)

Another menu will then appear asking your preferences for multiple display viewing. At the bottom, be sure to check "Display multiple clients at a time", and chose the viewing ratio you desire. (A higher ration shows more screens at once) Click scan to begin viewing.

4.)

The process may take a few seconds to connect, but the displays for the chosen clients will be displayed for you to monitor.

5.)

Clicking the enlarge icon in the upper right corner of each display will toggle that particular screen to full screen so you can more easily view individual displays.

6.)

Simply disconnect from the clients or click the X in the upper right hand corner  to exit.
