Welcome, International Friends

Congratulations on your acceptance to Philadelphia University. We are pleased that you will be joining us and have prepared a program that will assist you in making a smooth transition to your new life at our University.  Attendance at the International Student Orientation is required for all new international students, both undergraduate and graduate.  Not only will you receive valuable information but you can begin meeting your new classmates right away!


FALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION:  August 18-19, 2014

Please Register for International Student Orientation here.    Look under August 18:  international student orientation "sign up".

Undergraduates:

Monday, August 18-Tuesday, August 19th: New international student orientation, including move-in to your residence hall

Wednesday, August 20th: New student orientation for all freshmen, including registering for classes

CLASSES BEGIN ON MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2014

Graduates:

Monday, August 18-Tuesday, August 19th: New international student orientation, including lunch with program directors

Friday, August 22nd: Graduate Student Orientation for all new graduate students

CLASSES BEGIN ON MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2014

*Report to the Kanbar Campus Center (first floor) on the main campus between 8:30 and 9:00 am on Monday, August 18th for check-in.

There will be information sessions and tours throughout the day including a light breakfast, lunch, dinner and an optional shopping trip that evening. To view a campus map, click here.

*A TD Bank representative will be available for those who want to open a bank account

*A T-Mobile representative will be available to help you get a cell phone

*Bring your passport and I-20 with you the first day

**If you haven't returned your student health form you may also bring it with you
