2014 Orientation Leader Selection Process
Thank you for your interest in being an Orientation Leader (OL)! Orientation Leaders are an extremely important in our efforts to support new students as they join the Philadelphia University community. The OL position is filled with many challenges and rewards.
As an OL you will gain valuable experiences, build your resume, grow in your understanding of the complex issues that students are faced with, and learn more about yourself. Please take a moment to consider what you can bring to the position and what benefits you will gain from being an OL. The position can be challenging at times, with all the demands of prospective students looking to you for guidance and leadership.
The most successful OL's are ones who truly value the experience of new students taking their first steps down a four-year or five-year path of enlightenment, self-discovery, and purpose. They take their responsibilities seriously, and meet each new challenge with a positive outlook and continuing enthusiasm.

Please note that a complete file including your application, a personal statement, and two references should be returned to the Office of Student Engagement, located in the Kanbar Campus Center, suite 317 no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, January 17.
If your application is not complete, or if you fail to complete both an individual interview and a group process, you may be disqualified from the selection process.
