FacStaff Email
Every staff and faculty member at Philadelphia University is given an email account to use.
If a staff or faculty member is experiencing difficulty accessing an account please perform a Password Reset and then try logging in again. Due to the university's security system the user's password may be out of date.
Accessing an Account
Outlook Live allows users access to email from any computer with Internet access. Log on to Outlook Live by visiting "http://mail.philau.edu". A link to webmail is also available at the upper-right section of any PhilaU.edu webpage.
Use "YourUserName/Password" to log in.

For a password reset visit the Password Reset page.
To see if the user has a registered username go to "wa.philau.edu". Click on "Log In" and then click "Forgot your username?" This will go through the process of finding the user's account information.

Quota and Mail Attachments
There is a 25MB attachment limit when sending emails. Emails with attachments larger than 25MB will not send. Please use a free file uploading resource, like Dropbox, or a group folder, such as Lightning, to send large files.
Spam and Phishing scams
Phishing is attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Communications purporting to be from popular social web sites, auction sites, online payment processors or IT administrators are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting user.
