Connecting From Off-Campus
If you are not using a computer on the campus network to connect to a library online resource, you must follow the instructions below for remote access. All students, faculty, or staff are entitled to this access from off campus
To use the library databases off-campus you must first authenticate to the database. We use the PhilaU network username and password for authentication. You must have a Philadelphia University network account for remote access to Gutman Library electronic resources. Once authenticated to our network, your ISP will behave as if it is part of our network, allowing you to access our databases as if you were on campus.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have questions about your network account or find that you are unable to access the library databases from off campus after following the OIT instructions:
- Visit the Technology Help Desk on the 2nd floor of Search Hall;
- send an e-mail to HelpDesk@PhilaU.edu, or phone the Technology Help Desk, at: 215-951-4OIT (x4648).
